Mason is 4!!!

Since Mason's REAL birthday wasn't until the 16th, we were able to enjoy a whole new round of entertainment last weekend. To add to the excitement, Aunt Erika came to visit from DC. On Saturday we took the boys to the zoo, went to the mall to ride the carousel, and then just played around the house. The boys love having Erika stay with us - she is such a fun Aunt!

Sunday morning Mason was finally able to his presents. He was so excited even though he already knew what one was. The truck he is opening in this picture is a remote control truck Eric got as a freebie when he bought his cell phone his second year of dental school. We didn't have kids at the time, but we thought it might come in handy someday. Mason has seen it in the closet before and we've always told him he will get it when he's four. It's about time this truck gets played with and so far it's seen a lot of action!

We made cupcakes for him to take to preschool the next morning, and I realized this kid hadn't been sung to yet! So we stuck four candles in a cupcake and Logan and I sung our hearts out for the birthday boy!
Logan didn't care too much about the cupcake, but boy did he love the frosting!
We love Mason and are so glad he is in our family. Everyone that knows him will attest that we are blessed!
