For Mason's 6th birthday party, he chose a transformer theme. All the kids were given Transformer masks at the start of the party and given instructions about the missions they had to complete in order to get the clues that would lead them to the Allspark. I totally had to research transformers the day before his birthday to figure out what kind of games we could do because I had ZERO knowledge of transformers! I think I pulled it together because the kids had a blast! I was too busy going through the "missions" with them to take many pictures, dang! But here is the crew: Calvin, Conner, Mason, Paige, Thomas, Logan. It was the perfect size for me to handle! One more boy might have put me over the top!
The kids singing to Mason with his transformer cupcakes. I couldn't find any little transformers to put on top plain frosted cupcakes (Mason's request), so I used 3-D stickers. How ghetto is that? But the boys didn't seem to mind - phew!
My big 6 year old - wow! Crazy how fast kids grow up! My top 6 reasons for loving Mason are as follows:1. He is really sensitive to others feelings and tries to be everyone's friend.
2. He shares with his brother and sister even when he really doesn't want to.
3. He idolizes Eric and will do anything to spend time with him.
4. He tells me I am pretty and compliments me on my hair, clothes, jewelry, etc.
5. He has loved cowboy stuff since he was 18 months old and asks me reguarly if we can live on a farm someday. He dreams of riding bucking bulls and broncs when he's older, and begs me to let him ride a sheep at the local rodeo now as practice.
6. He truly wants to do what's right and feels really guilty when he's made a bad choice. He expects a lot of himself and is meticulous in everything he does.
How lucky am I to be his mom! We love you, Mason!
