March

Spring is here! Maybe to stay, but spring in the rockies is highly unpredictable so I wouldn't count on it. In fact, a storm is blowing in as we speak even though it is currently a balmy 60 degrees.
On every warm day we've had (temps ranging from 48-60 all equal "warm" to the boys), the boys have begged me to spray water on them while they jump on the trampoline. When I tell them no, they then beg to set up the kiddie pool. When that request is also met with a firm no, they resort to jumping on the trampoline with their shirts off. Crazy kids.
Even though spring had sprung in the valley, the mountains continued to get snow. Eric and I got one last powder day at our little resort before it closed. Oh, what a sad day that was! We had some amazing powder this year and I really enjoyed being able to ski regularly again. I think I went five times this year, which may not sound like much, but it is when you consider that I had only been skiing 3 times in the last 6 years!

For spring break, the kids and I went to Denver to visit my friend Shauna. Shauna has a daughter 5 weeks younger than Paige and they are learning to be friends. The best playtime they had was when they played hide and seek. They are both OBSESSED with the game! Here they are "hiding" in a cupboard. These were the faces I got when I told them to smile. Guess that was a mistake!
We went to the zoo one day and fought the girls all day about weather they were walking or riding. We did have two strollers, but Paige thought pushing Bradli was way more fun than being pushed by me. That didn't last long since she was going about 1 mile an hour and running into curbs/people/goose poop/anything in her way.
All the kiddos, looking super cute.
These three boys play so well together. It's a good thing too, because with all the Bradli/Paige fights, we don't have much ability to monitor the boys.
I loved being back at the Denver zoo. I went so much when we lived there and really miss having a zoo for the kids to explore now. I wish Denver wasn't four hours away!
While we were in Denver I bought some new duds for the kiddos. Don't they look dashing? I wish they looked this cute everyday, but Sunday's are the only days they subscribe to my fashion requests. Thank goodness I get one day!

Visit to Buehler's

Our good friends, Erica and Jared, used to live across the street from us, but moved to UT last November. We decided to go visit them for a quick weekend to see their new house, new baby, and new life in Utah. It was really hard to leave since seeing them made us realize how much we miss them!
Logan and Jackson are best buddies. They used to be inseparable when they lived by us and picked up right where they left off.
Paige and Lucy are two months apart and have a love/hate relationship. They love to play together, but also love to fight over the most coveted toys. This trip the fights were all over baby dolls, strollers, and bottles. It was so funny to hear them talking to each other now. When Lucy moved both girls were just barely starting to speak and now they are both jabber boxes! Too bad we didn't get a picture of them when they were all dolled up. They are looking a little rough here!
Here is the new addition - baby Joshua. He was the sweetest little thing and gave me my baby fix for a little while. Good thing UT isn't too far away so we can see the Buehler's often. Thanks for having us, we miss you guys already!
