Perspective

I just read the blog of someone with a 10 month old baby that has neuroblastoma. She was diagnosed around the same time as Eric and has undergone 4 chemo treatments, just like Eric. It is heartbreaking to think of a baby just one month older than Paige undergoing the same awful treatments Eric is going through. There was quote on their blog that I loved, it said....

"I know God will not give me more than I can bear, I just wish He didn't trust me so much." -Mother Teresa

There's perspective for you...

You really seem to have such a great attitude and so much strength through all of this. Just want you to know we think of you often and you are in our prayers!

That was so sweet of you to post about Bree. Their last post had lots of good news. And good news it still is. But today they found out that it is still in her bone marrow. Though it is shrinking. I want you to know that we continually pray for Eric also. I check your blog regularly and feel like a blog stalker, hoping for good news from you two. This whole cancer thing really stinks! Go to my blog and scroll down to my cancer decal on January 6th. Hopefully it'll make you laugh. (;

Amen to that! Paige is super cute, I can't believe that she is 9 months old! She looks pretty mobile too, that will keep you busy! I love her hair too. You just have the cutest kids.

I was thinking about you tonight and wanted to check in and see how you are all doing. You are such a sweet family and your positivity and strength are such an inspiration.

You are all still in my prayers.

Oh Megan, you always make me feel strengthened. It should be the other way around. I think I speak for many when I say that you and Eric uplift and strengthen the rest of us!!!
