Although our kids look like the living dead here (especially Paige's expression), we had a really fun Halloween. The boys loved their vampire costumes, and Paige was fortunately unaware of all the comments we received from BYU supporters and non-BYU supporters alike regarding the recent sub-par performance of BYU's football program.
We were invited to a Halloween party by Mason's soccer coach and so we felt obliged to dress-up. After helping my friends in Philly shop for costumes, an 80's theme sounded fun and easy to pull-off. Eric was thrilled he got to wear a mullet, although I have to say the mullet he had as a senior in high school was much better than this wig version (ohhh...how I wish I had a picture to post right now). hated the wigs, so we had to wear them around the house for three days until she got used to them.
Last Halloween was the day we found out Eric had cancer. I remember trying so hard to have a normal day so that the holiday wouldn't be ruined for the kids. I'm glad we got to celebrate tear free this year with a healthy man who was a super hot 80's rocker!

Wow! You guys are rockin hot in your Halloween get up! I'm so glad this bad year is behind you. We still think and pray for you often.
So, today we met some friends of yours from Philly. The Dobsons just moved into our ward today and I'm so excited because they have a little boy Cameron's age. Cam has been the only boy in his primary class with 5 girls! Yeah! Lincoln and him can add some testosterone to the group!
