Upstate New York Tour

We left Philly Friday afternoon to drive to Palmyra, NY for the Hill Cumorah pageant , but we didn't get on the road when we wanted to (because Eric's patient was late) and missed the start of the pageant. It was no big deal because we were planning on staying 2 nights in Palmyra so we decided to hit the sack and get up early to drive 2 more hours to Niagara Falls the next morning.
Niagara Falls was amazing! It was really windy and drizzly, but the falls were spectacular! We took a boat ride called Maid of the Mist, here are the boys in their issued ponchos - a must on this boat ride!
Views of American Falls from the boat....
Bridal Veil falls...
And Horseshoe Falls...
It was hard to get a picture of Horseshoe Falls because there was so much water spraying in the boat from the waterfalls. They take you really close to the falls, it's very cool!

That night we drove back to Palmyra, saw the pageant in the rain (we had to make a stop at TJ Maxx for some pants for the boys so they didn't freeze), then went back to the dorms where we were staying (yes, we are ghetto). The next morning we headed to the Joseph Smith Farm and Sacred Grove.

The boys did great on this trip, despite a lot of car time. On the way back yesterday, Logan was insistent that Mason hold his hand. At first Mason wouldn't do it and Logan cried and cried, so eventually Mason gave in. Aren't they cute?

Sounds like a fun trip. I am so impressed with how much you two travel and have really taken advantage of being out here. You motivate me. Jared and I went to the beach in Long Island last week and I felt like that was an exhausting trip. Way to go, Megan. I knew there were lots of reasons why I liked you.

You guys do so many fun things! I can't wait until Ella is a little older so we can travel more. I am jealous- but you guys seem to be having a blast. Hurry up and finish school so we can hang out:)
