Sunday Best

Lately, Sundays are about the only days I proudly claim my children. Other days (thanks to them wanting to dress themselves) they look homeless. This Sunday, being the Sunday before Christmas, I got to dictate what they wore and I think they turned out pretty cute.
This little girl had a hard time being the monkey that she is during church in this long dress. She kept getting her feet caught in the underskirt while she was trying to climb around. I was worried she was going to rip through it with her shoe any minute. But I've dreamed of having a little girl to dress up like this for many years, so she was wearing the dress, like it or not!
Paige looked like Shirley Temple today. When Mason saw me taking her curlers out he said, "Mom, we can't take her to church like that!"
I even go the old man to pose with me today! This is a rare event! He got his first official haircut last week since chemo. Doesn't he look good? We hope you all have a Merry Christmas this coming week. Ours will be a white one this year. Snow pictures to come!

Barnhurst...what's this about chemo? How are you anyway? I haven't seen or talked to you since Shaunna and I got married. What are you up to? I have been trying to track you down on Facebook tonight, but can't find your page. It looks like your beautiful family is growing quickly. drop me a line when you have a moment.
