I had to get one more beach day in before I became land-locked in Colorado, so I convinced some friends to go "down the shore" one last time with me. We had a great time, despite the trashiness of Atlantic City. Why we didn't do beach days more often while I was here is beyond me - it's only 1 hour away!!!
Things and lingo I am going to miss about Philly:The shore (beach)
Taffy's (lollipops)
Youze guys (you guys)
WaWa (like 7-11)
Pampers (every kind of diaper)
Cheesesteaks
Wuter Ice (Water ice, like italian ice)
Hoagies (you can't call them subs)
Soft Pretzels
Kelly Drive running loop
Meg (my name, even to strangers)
Good eggs (good people)
Sliding boards (slides)
That's all I can think of right now, but there are so many things I am going to miss. It's been a great 2 years. Thanks to all my friends who have made it so great!!!

I'm not really the tallest of the girls am I? How slanted was that beach? It isn't very often I'm not the shortest one so it kinda shocked me to see it...hahaha. Thanks so much for planning that, I don't know if we would have ever done it otherwise. When you are rich :) you can just fly back here every once in a while to go to the classy Atlantic City Beach with us :)

I love the Philly words list too!! Every one of them made me laugh (which is good, b/c I'm not even leaving for another 2 years).:) I've heard Ocean City is "classier" than Atlantic City, but it also costs to go to the beach-- which is weird, b/c how can you charge people for the ocean?!?

I'm glad that you got to go the shore one last time. We went the week before we left too. Enjoy the moving & settling part coming up. It will be nice for you to go some place that is more familiar & closer to family. We will probably always miss Philly & Our Philly Family but there is a time & place for everything. :) Take Care! I love Wawa. Shima and I used to go there every day when we grew up in PA and get a laughy taffy. I am going to miss you being close.
