Months ago I decided that once we were back from our holiday travels, I was going to potty train Logan. I potty trained Mason when he was exactly 2 1/2 and Logan turned 2 1/2 on January 2nd so I figured it was time. I was going to start last week but after a bout of warm weather, I pushed it back to this week because I didn't want to have to spend a rare warm week in my house with Logan on the potty! So, today was the first day. He did really well as long as I put him on the potty every 20 minutes or so and he didn't have an accident until this evening and I was distracted. After that one accident, he went in his pants several times which made me wonder, "Is this kid ready?" Mason picked it up in one day, so I kind of hoped Logan would catch on by this evening. How many days should I let this trial go? Any suggestions?By the way, this picture isn't from today. I thought it was a funny shot taken of him last week when Mason tied him to the stair railing. I didn't know he was tied up and thought he was playing upstairs. When Eric came home, he went upstairs to change his clothes and found Logan this way. He was whining a little, but I was making dinner and didn't hear him. I don't know why he couldn't get his feet out of that loop - so funny!

I think you were lucky with Mason. One day is pretty rare. I'm buying underware for my Mason this week too. We are starting this week or next...I'm having a hard time biting the bullet, but Mason is always taking off his diaper and sitting on the potty anyways...I might as well. Good luck and I hope we're both done with this soon.
Hang in there! Every kid is different and it sounds like Mason was a dream. Just stick to your guns, the more you put him back in a diaper the more he knows that is an option. Good Luck!!!
I second that Mason was a dream. Sadie was a nightmare with battles for 1 1/2- 2 years. Just keep at it and be persistent, it may take him a little longer than a day.
i hate potty training. IF you want a little encouragement--Audrey picked it up really fast where Maggie was 3. I think when they have a sibling to model after, it helps. ALthough, I'm not even thinking about Potty training Drew--but he just turned 2 last month.
That is such a funny picture! I love the look he is giving :)
Also, I tagged you again. Enjoy! :)
We just potty trained Lily and she had several accidents and then finally got tired of having to clean them up. She is pretty good at it now with an accident every now and then. Maybe she wasn't ready, but I was sick of diapers. She finally caught on. Good Luck. I wish she was as easy as Mason!
I totally thought that you tied him down so that he wouldn't pee all through the house. I was laughing so hard. Good thought though.
with his pant's pulled down like that it is tempting to say yes it is time but I guess he is alittle young, won't be much longer before I get the lube though, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nice tight little boy bum will feel reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal good
